FR Our Commitment to Transparency

FR To respond to the demand for greater transparency, the Glyphosate Renewal Group will proactively meet the new provisions of the EU General Food Law before the legislation comes into force. In doing so, the Glyphosate Renewal Group will make available all the files in the scientific dossier.

01 Transparency

Studies, application, minutes of official meetings and more will be made available on this website to respond to the demand for greater transparency.

02 Authorisation Process

A robust process requiring thorough scientific scrutiny by multiple competent and expert entities, independent of industry, is at the basis of the EU authorisation to use glyphosate in herbicides

03 Environment & Biodiversity

FR Glyphosate-based herbicides provide simple, flexible and cost-effective weed control as glyphosate helps to remove invasive weeds for several years.

04 FR Safety

FR Glyphosate has undergone more thorough toxicological testing than almost any other chemical [active substance used in pesticides]. Those tests overwhelmingly conclude that glyphosate is safe for its intended uses.

05 FR Uses

FR Glyphosate is used to control a variety of plants mostly in agriculture and gardening, but also on grasslands, non-cultivated areas such as railway tracks and verges and in forestry and aquatic environments.

FR Stats

FR Glyphosate in numbers

FR Glyphosate is the key ingredient of the most widely used herbicides in the world because it combines proven effectiveness and safety.
