What other documents can I access via the GRG Website?
In addition to the scientific dossier, the GRG provides access to additional documents relevant for the ongoing process for the application for the renewal of the authorisation of glyphosate in the EU.

Authority Communication- Regular communication between the parties involved in the regulatory process is a normal practice. Via the GRG website you can find copies of the correspondence between the GRG and regulatory authorities involved in the process.

Meeting Minutes– Prior to submitting the application for the approval of an active substance, the applicant has the possibility to meet with the European authorities to discuss procedural and scientific topics and obtain guidance. The meeting minutes and presentations discussed are published on this page.

Application documents- The application for the renewal of the active substance glyphosate was initially submitted on 12 December 2020 by the GRG to the evaluating Member States (AGG), EFSA and the European Commission. Highlights from the Policy Dialogue

Farming Talks: Experiences from the field
The GRG supported a virtual policy dialogue, organized by EURACTIV, on 20 April 2021. The event brought together a panel of experienced professionals to discuss the timely topic of glyphosate’s ongoing regulatory renewal process, and the possible implications of eliminating it from the farmers’ toolbox.

The panellists, including a distinguished scientist, two farmers, and a GRG representative, based the discussion on the science behind the regulatory process, the role glyphosate plays in conservation agriculture, and the farmers’ experiences and needs.

Read more about the event here.  Please find the event’s recording at this link.
